Upgrading the PDA operating system from WM5 to WM6 changes the ROM version, thus the change in PDA machine code. To reinstall POWERMAP, register POWERMAP (
http://www.powermap.in.th/registration.php) using the ;authorization code provided and the new PDA machine code. A new registration code will be provided, which will be used to activate POWERMAP.

What is the difference between POWERMAP versions V7, G10, and R12?
Functions, graphic interface, and overall efficiency of POWERMAP are continually developed. Each new version is an improvement of the former. V7 highlights basic navigation features in Thai and English languages, with 2D or 3D display features. In G10, smart learning by fuzzy logic and faster calculating speed were added features. R12 showcases better graphic resolution and a special dual screen feature for PC application.

How often is the map updated?
Map update is being done continuously on a daily basis. AITS has dedicated teams for field data collection and qualified GIS engineers to update road network, POI, and other features. New map updates are made available every 3 months for download.

Do customers have to pay for map update? How much?
Map updates are free within 3 years from the date of POWERMAP purchase. A minimum fee will be charged after 3 years.Note that this policy is subject to change without prior notice

Is there a fee for using GPS signals?
No. There is no fee associated with receiving GPS signals on GPS devices.

When main board of a device is damaged and changed to new one, can existing registration
code be used to activate POWERMAP?
No. A new registration code is required to activate POWERMAP. To get a new registration code, register POWERMAP (
